Summer! Many of us live for this magical season. Yes, I know some of you play “hide from the heat” for the next 4 months, but being in North Dakota, I have to write about it. Summer is a beautiful time. We find new life in ourselves and all around us. We burn every second of daylight the Creator has gifted us, and we grow.
It’s also the season of summer camps and events. Many of you have worked hard to plan summer events and activities. The question I have is: How well have you communicated? Does everyone know about these events and opportunities? Are you going to get the participation you’ve hoped for? If not, get cracking! I use a simple rule of thumb: Take the amount of communication you think is sufficient and triple it. GoodHealthTV®, social media, websites, bulletin boards, radio all work great. If someone accuses you of overcommunicating, I say, “Job well done.”
